Carbon Negative Solutions for a Better Environment
In the Spring of 2009, a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) BEES Analysis was conducted on RePLAY, where it was compared to a competitive, petroleum-based product. The report determined that RePLAY has almost 40% more favorable total life cycle environmental performance as it is carbon negative.
Simply put, this means that our solution does not contribute C02 to the environment and it reduces the amount of greenhouse gases in the surrounding environment. While other seals are petroleum-based and harmful to the environment, RePLAY is composed of 88% biobased material, including North American-grown soy beans.
